Hey Trev, good idea im in.

You know what would be fun...a night up at Double Island, I got the nav that can squeeze 5. The only thing is if anyone is a weirdo there might be trouble....no can hear you scream up there...

Haha, classic call Marcus... Fong is a dead-set weirdo so you're gonna have to have some options

DI could be a good call... we score if there's a Cyclone or if it's NE devil winds or if there's hardly any swell at all.

But we got plenty of options...
Tiger lives in a sweet part of the hinterland and Fong's got a new pad only a stones throw from the beach. Trev is the mayor of Moffatts so we'd have no probs setting up our picnic blankets wherever we want haha 8)

As for me, I'm bailing to Vietnam-China-Japan in early December and won't be around till late Jan 09... or maybe Jan 10

December 9... From now till then, the Mrs and I are packing up house and taking care of loose ends... fun times :x

Looking forward to a bit of adventure and getting some deep powder turns in Japan... while regularly checking the cams and realsurf to see if you guys are scoring some sick, cyclone action

DI sounds good for me....and the prado carries 8

plus  i know a short cut ( famous last words  )

or we could meet in the middle

O'nighter at DI sounds good. Think most of us are sorted for beach capable vehicles.

If not, somewhere central like Carties. La Balsa's good as u got close access to Carties or Kawana depending on conditions. And u can even wet a line in the river, while you're searing some dead cow on the bbq.

Prefer a Sunday for me, as I work Saturday and don't get home until 3pm.

I'm good for a Sunday, Carties would be good. Most enjoyable area and great scenery. Maybe early December so we can coerce RB+ into coming along.

In for Carties too if DI is too hard. La Balsa is good idea tiger, perfect for a ne/se wind (we better not jinx this with straight easterlies at 25knts), sunday works well too.

I imagine this'll be fairly boring, you'll probably talk about surfing, surf boards and fishing.

There'll be nothing about hairstyles, turf and the taxi club, you poor guys :(

p.s I'm calling shot gun
p.p.s pick a date :!:
If it's well engineered it's beautiful .
