check out the east coast

Nusa Dua for the more experienced riders

theres a nice reef break called Serangan which on its day has near perfect waves

also for the more beginner rider is keramas

check out wannasurf its got the map of bali and all the breaks that you could visit

dont worry about what other people say about bodyboarding, as long as you enjoy it its all good

Sanur Point is amazing - lots of locals but be nice and you'll get a few. Easy paddle straight off the beach at the north end of sanur where the boats are. Also a couple of gaps in the reef right there too that sometimes work mostly a bit of face and closeouts and don't pick up too much swell... good for a booger. Also Nusa Lembongan (the boat goes from the right at Sanur!) has three great breaks which work int he wet. Ulus will probably surprise and be working for at least a few days along with the other breaks there like impossibles and bingan but the water is a bit brown and the offshores are far from guaranteed on that side.

Nusa Dua (sri lankas) is not for the faint hearted but you sound man enough to do it - can be a giant sunset beach like playing field with peaks all over the place to catch to weary paddler. Get boats out there and get them to wait. greenballs is ok at this time of year too. that's a start - this info is easy to find these days on the net - check wannasurf

thanks to everyone for their suggestions, especially Salty( I've never tried it but on your recommendation perhaps I should!).

TurfCo this is some of your best work, possibly even better than your 1000th.
