Nice start guys.
With Maxi's theme of shots from aircraft, I got a chance to capture restaurants at Tavarua in full cry.
Pity I was flying over it, and not thru it.

yeah butts, got back from my 5 week japan trip a few weeks ago. still havn't been through my shots really!
i'll get a pic later of a surf lineup there at enoshima beach. very funny.
threads gotten off to a good start!

I'm tipping it's northern Pakistan/ Afghanistan. I have some similar shots but how the hell did you get them so clear through the porthole?

Thanks - it was somewhere east of Abu Dhabi - middle of nowhere. Amazing landscapes.....I didn't do anything special to get them clear - although a bit of post processing in Photoshop helped.
Serious desolation pretty much surrounds the geometric urban sprawl...you'd want to have busloads of $$$ and huge chunks of the world's oil supplies to live there...
