well there is also a water security zone, and there is no paddling from shitties in a bomb swell....or walking the road.
Security is the main reasoning as well as OH&S
all borders will be enforced, security changes on the 15th September with complete lockdown being the 1st November
rally some troops

Done #155.
Reminiscent of the Forster north breakwall.
It wouldn't be my choice for surf spot but closing it is contrary to the published State Government policy of opening up foreshore land to the public.
If the bureaucrats are worried about public liability a few strategically placed warning signs should suffice.

Its a bloody good fishing spot too.
about 5 years ago a mate, his brother and i snuck into the steelworks and fished the hot water outlet. was a real james bond mission.
from that road we went through the coal loader, through the tunnel underneath the shipping docks, over some fences accross two bridges and down into this big canal of alans creek
that place is filled with fish.
that exclusion zone against surfing is a bloody joke though
signed and face booked.
