Rip Curl Search- Bali?
Did anyone else hear one of the commentators on last night's J-Bay mention that the next event is in Bali?
No its not Bali.
Try an epic left hander on another island not far from Bali.
Won't say anymore than that other than Im pissed off its going to be there coz i was planning a trip there myself at the same time but have canned it.
The guys on the tour know where it is coz a couple of em stopped there before j Bay.

dino andino let it fly about 15 times in the commentary last night that its definitely in indo... at least the goofy footers wont have an excuse to dribble on and whinge about having no chance of winning, as they did at j-bay...no wonder slater flogs em so bad, half theses neck scarffwearing metro c.t dudes mind f..k themselves out of results. i never ever heard occ or tom carroll compete there with that attitude....

nah got it good for 3 days with a total of probably 40 surfers at the camps. most of the time you'd be surfing with less than 10 people on the whole reef. i surfed one day, admittedly not the best waves (rippy 4-5 foot low tide moneys) for about 3 hours completely alone. that was until the evening glass-off, which i also surfed (way better, pumping actually) with about 6 other guys.
.... i was saying that G-Land is what it is because of it's consistency. it's 'good' about 80-90% of the time. it's 'excellet' maybe 30-40% of the time. compare than to other lefts which you'd maybe call better waves, nokandui for example, which is probably 'good' 15% of the time, and excellent 10% of the time.
