Communism had no spiritual foundation whatsoever.
It was a failure.

It tried to spread its tentacles across the world and in so doing could almost have replaced what spirituality was left in the world with a faulty soulless socio-economic experiment/initiative.

Capitalism on the other hand works more subtly in diminishing the spiritual stranglehold suffocating many 3rd world countries.
This is something that major corporations needed to get rid off.

Using their proven formulas for screwing up a country... they created in the people a desire to own material possessions.

Eventually this new insatiable need to selfishly satisfy oneself through owning goods slowly replaced the Sunday visits to the temples with toob sesh’s out at Ulu’s .

All that Rip Curl did was help them do it in style.

I just had to drop off my wife and kid this morning at the airport. She is going to see her mother and brother who live in Bali. I don’t like her brother at all. In fact I would really like to smash his knee caps in.
These next few weeks I’m gonna be slightly unstable and not my usual cheerful self. I’m not really happy about her going there and these last few I’ve invested quite a bit of energy in trying to make her feel guilty.

I find your comments about me very distressing…. especially the bit about me having a low IQ and I didn’t particularly like you calling me an arrogant whatever it was.
Cheer up dumbass (that was a joke - we don't want you necking yourself mate) . Listen while the wife's away let's go out.....I know a really great club I think you'd like. Bring NC along (if he can get a leave pass) he spends too much time up in that wasteland that is Newport.

"A really great club". It's that place in Chippendale isn't it. Where the middle aged woman whips people.

KK yes...me no. I'd rather go head to head with clif on the whole searching and fearless moral inventory thing.

You deadest think I would go to a club with you Buffster.

I would have to check you didn’t spike my drinks.
I would have to walk with my bum to the wall.
I would have to listen to your lispy, limp wristed friends bitching all night.
I would have you staring and pouting at me all night.
I would have to constantly reject all your offers of shared toilet pit stops.
I would have the police interviewing me about your disappearance. ....and I’m sick of them always asking me questions about missing people.

Take NC. He has just confessed to being a pillow biter. Something my brain is finding hard to compute

Gotta love discussion forums, guaranteed to resort to personal abuse within two or three pages.

Back to the comp: Looks like Slater continues to be on fire this year. Highest heat score in Round 1. Has to be favourite to take out the comp.

I thought the Balo surfer Goga looked a bit out of his depth. Great style and he probably got some great photos standing stall in the tubes, but it looks like you'll need to do a big turn at the start and get a double barrel to get a decent score this comp.

I reckon since realsurfs relaunch everyone on the forums has been slightly crankier.

Maybe the new site is bringing out the worst in everyone.

Back on this morning. Put a quick bet on an accy.

02 Aug 2008 10:36 AM Adriano de Souza vs Kieren Perrow 1: (Straight) Adriano de Souza @ 1.25 5.00 0.00 Not Settled.
02 Aug 2008 10:36 AM Bobby Martinez vs Michael Campbell 1: (Straight) Bobby Martinez @ 1.35 0.00 0.00 Not Settled.
02 Aug 2008 10:36 AM Kelly Slater vs Tiago Pires 1: (Straight) Kelly Slater @ 1.07 0.00 0.00 Not Settled.
02 Aug 2008 10:36 AM Mick Fanning vs Rodrigo Dornelles 1: (Straight) Mick Fanning @ 1.07 0.00 0.00 Not Settled.

Only paying $1.93 but shouldnt give too much trouble except maybe Perrow knocking off de Souza

Up set of the year, well nearly. Great come back by Tiago, sold slats the burger. Slater had a bit of a brain fart, maybe a weakness is exposed..then again he's never had a great result at a ripcurl search event.

what was the go with dane reynolds interference call in round 2? he didn't affect danny's ride in my opinion .. isn't that the rule? with a 3.33 as a back up he would have got a high 8 or nine and won the heat. sux.
