On one hand, they are efficient in dealing with, well basically anyone whom they deem
(a) annoying,
(b) dangerous ie. drop ins,
(c) kooks
(d) Zillas
.Are they just a pack of thugs?
Do they over police?
Obviously if you are in with them, getting the 'nod' from one of the boys will give one a great sense of relief and hence maybe turn a blind eye to some of the activities frowned apon by many.
In their defence, they are bombarded with all sorts of morons every season, even helping in saving blokes lives that have gotten themselves into strife.
But I have also heard of some unsavoury incidents outside of their local where they have 'ruled' other spots.
Or is it like any other boardriders club with a hierarchy except its at one of surfings biggest venues?
