I'm still busted up over cowboy's statement that he'd rather not die if possible... gold

So are you guys saying there could be sharks in the water every time I go surfing???! Holy shit I never thought of it like that!! Back to golf for me then!

Yeah but there is something about being torn to pieces and being chewed up while you are still alive  I'd rather be hit by a truck...and never know what happened. All the same don't go smearing pork fat all over yourself or taking pisses if you're the only one out. There is also the shark shield which is an electronic device which will keep them away.

Just go surfing mate, you have nothing to worry about up there, if your worrying about sharks instead of surfing you'll never have fun or improve.

Maybe the reason we don't hear much from "cowboy" these days is that he took SAsurfa's & others advice, went in at Crowdy, and was eaten

... with the mullet coming-on, combined with the rain and large tidal changes; there's been quite a few sightings up here.
Crowdy is incredibly fickle and only worthwhile when the swell is HUGE and from the northern quarter...
The Valla to Hungry Head stretch is very sharky (bulls /whites/bronzies) !!! but insane banks at a 'certain locale' at the moment and mostly uncrowded!

best stay in Sydney and drink yourself to death, if you're worried about such matters.
cheers

AND if you are a pom Cowboy, heres some advice on how to avoid a shark attack while surfing here in Australia
1/ Only surf first thing in the morning or last thing in the afternoon, that way you wont get too sunburnt.
2/ Try to surf alone because, the more people you surf with the more it attracts the sharks.
3/ Its a good idea to attach a dead fish or two to your legrope, this distracts the shark, and will stop it attacking you. ( you can buy them from the co-op)
4/When your sitting out the back, make sure you splash around alot because that scares the sharks away, especially the big ones
5/ Always make sure you save up a big piss and do it while your in the water, the sharks dont like the smell and it will keep them away..

Stay safe, follow this advice and let us know how you go

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
