South Narra Housing...

Post by Revolution » Thu Jul 12, 2007 7:26 pm

:?:

Anyone see any houses go under?

After seeing those pics on the homepage, and a 1.8m (i think) high tide about an hour ago...

Any news?

You'll always get a bite from me on this subject.

Burn baby burn. Unfortunately, not this time round.

I'm really looking forward to the day.

It'll be an interesting competition between the Council and the insurance companies.

My money's on the Councils.

global warming isnt going to contribute fuck all the the houses at collaroy going under in the next few years,
the fact that beaches suffer naturally from the sea encroaching onto the land will have an effect, and who knows how long it will take, months?? years?? decades??

i disagree about your global warming theory....

sand has been washed up and has replaced about half a metre of sand in places.... althought what is realy interesting is the trees down from south narra surf club, they are on the brink of falling, with half there roots in mid air over the wall,

i think they will last long if we get hit with some more windy days,
