They are lurking in the shadows, watching and waiting, they know their time will come again...

Squidink introduced me to Realsurf

He moved to Japan; I haven't heard from him in ages.

It's like going down the walls of the Grand Canyon and seeing this evolution unfold before your eyes.

Back when the trilobites and amoeba ruled RealSurf.

So fascinating.

iggy wrote:^ were you bumbaclot ?
In my previous post i was gonna say " well except maybe iggy"

after the bumbaclot remark I'm glad I didn't :)

I guess use of the term "no-one" is a bit harsh, few is probably more accurate

Gaz, you've had enough clues, if references to GILFs weren't enuff mate then I dunno

and shearey boy, your comment is so far wide of the mark it's actually funny when it comes from a bloke who reckons he's got it all on a string, watch out for the wallet inspector !!!

bumaclot was a cool bloke, i got on the piss with him and most of these people a few times at rs bbq's.

the guy with the pen name squid ink did a really cool home and away style soap opera with characters from realsurf.
i have copies somewhere, but it would be better if squidink put them up himself.
he took them down after a while and disappeared into the early fog.

perhaps Larry knows who the author is, perhaps he could persuade him to re post it.

Nah it's not Stuart
Balders on fire??? Ha the buggers to busy to do anything these days. Gone are the days of company trips to jbay and PE, poor bloke is off the company coin and doing his own thing these days.
The other old posters I still kind of keep in touch with as they actually became my friends which is amazing really. This place has changed a lot over the years but i still enjoy the banter that occasionally pops up

Time for me to scarper off
