Other thing is it’s taken me three years to be half accepted as a regular so will get the odd nod, gadday, swell chat and call in. I know you’re brine brother and all but….you know the drill. But, it’s worth taking the time in my opinion in a place where it will be locals and regulars. I know you know this. I’ve just done it, albeit on the Cenny. It makes a massive difference to getting decent waves IMHO.

I think it’s called respecting the locals. It sucks but, it works.

Remember when steve boldly announced to his readership that he was only going to be travelling by bike to the surf, did it once then quietly ditched that idea? If he’d actually invested in some proper board carrying apparatus he might have stuck with it. As it was, labouring on his bicycle shaped object with board under arm was just too much hard
