I wonder what the statistics would show about shark attacks on shortboarders versus longboarders?
Seems every time there's a photo of a board with a bite mark it's a shortboard.
Only a rat can win the rat race.

^^^^^

most attacks occur early morning when the longboarders and alternative surfcraft riders are sipping their chai soy skim lattes in exotic over priced cafes ... late afternoon they are sipping chardonay whilst discussing the stock market with a poodle on a leash by their side ... so it seems the shortboarders are the only one's out there during sthe main shark feeding times ...

or passed out from too many tallies :?

in terms of statistics of course shortboarders are gonna get done more than mals, there would be like 10 shortboards to 1 mal, plus a mal being much bigger might be less attractive. same with bodyboards- i was watching a doco on shark week and it said that swimmers have a 38% chance of being attacked and sboarders are like 35%- whereas bodyboards are at 2% >< those stats are solely based on representation in the line up- nothing do to with what tastes better... this show was so shit, they even went as far as to claim that 95% of all shark attacks happen in less that 2 meters!! no WAY

Not very many. I reckon Lambert's got his stats around the wrong way. We're a dying breed down in these parts Surfin, & it ain't got nothing to do with the Noahs.

Not all mal riders are overweight, latte sipping and unattractive 8)

the guys in the fishing kayaks were fishing around the pro fishermens bouys.
the pro fishermen offered them a tow in, for $80.
