answer it by chucking on a wettie, and paddling out. take a day off work and do it.

the banks here aren't in too good a shape after that S swell.

Surfing is like an old girlfriend who has moved on, and I'm now living in a men's hostel eating chops and drinking International Roast Caterers' Blend while she's happy, rich and with a really great man and a few kids. As a weekend warrior occasional surfer at present that's fken funny aj!. I'm currently putting on skirting boards, a cnunthole of a job if ever there was one. Sucks the time away like crazy. Had other commitments this year ( charity fight night ) which just got canned so more time coming up.

Soon we're coming up to early light, which is a god send for an early riser like me, I can get out before work no probs. Summer o beerfan coming up!

It's all about priorities. If surfing isn't a priority then you won't surf much, if at all.

Let me be clearer. No one is suggesting putting loved ones on the priority list. However, if you really want to surf you need to make the time. It's possible if it's a priority, if not it won't happen. Example it's so high on your priority list that you have decided to live at Lennox.

The effort for AJ is immense. From the inner west, cycling into a head wind across the bridge to his beloved Longy with his trusty Morning Star acting as a jib to propell him to Valhalla is an hell of an effort. His only sustanance a brown cheese roll and Granny Smith. By the time he got home he'd do an impersonation of Perphiddes at the battle of Marathon and die on arrival.

Got a 9'2" single and a 5'4" keeler in the car. I'm paddling out tomorrow even if it's just to sit in the water

Worst thing I ever did for my surfing was leave Newcastle. Good consistent waves 4 or 5 minutes from my house, all year round. And great fishing.

Well my day on the Bukit didn't work out at all: the unexpected swell yesterday morning with no other takers was infinitely better than today's no show
