2-3 foot peaky ripbowl burgers. Jumbled but still some shapely ones in the mix. nice shouldering wall to tear up then a fairly dredgy inside section to wack out a final turn on or little cover up to pull into. The new twinny felt right at home, fast and flowing connecting the dots

do you find yourself "wiping away some speed"?

No wiping or washing off of speed, but it's fkng fast that's for sure. The surf was pretty gutless (8secs 2ft) and the extra speed (and looseness) felt great. It's the sixth time I've surfed it, and in nothing sizeable, so not sure what the top end feels like yet.

At last a morning with off shores
low tide 2 ft peaks galore - even got "the view" first wave

Me too! I rode my wounded magic board, and saw her off in style one last time.

Got a little arse dragger backside pit first wave and popped out. Ate shit a few times, then got a peeling righthander all the way into the flags and stepped off onto dry sand and to a standing ovation from clubbie guy. and by standing ovation I mean he torched me in front of 20 people on microphone!

I apologised and offered to take him to lunch. told him i know a great place that does an unreal corned beef sandwich on white bread with pickle relish.

Surfed a nice left beachie, bout head and a 1/2 high, fist surf for a month I think it wasn't a solo surf.
