Leashes

Post by longyfreshy » Tue Sep 16, 2014 6:11 pm

Hi Just bought a mini mal for summer and haven't bought a leash yet. It is 7'2" what length do you recommend and any online sites where I could purchase one. Not a top of the line one just one that will work.

Thanks

just get the smallest thinnest leggie you can find. You're not gonna be using it in any seriously heavy surf so it's not gonna be under any strain it can't handle. Minimise the legrope; it's one thing you can do to make surfing simpler.

Shorter the better. Keep that board closer to you and further from me

Thanks Nick I know you always give good answers.
My short board has about the same length of the board but I thought I may have to go longer for the mini mal.

Thanks again

if you haven't bought one yet, I've found ebay is as good as anywhere to start looking for a leg rope.

Just get the one the same size of your board at least .
