Well i will be out of the water til around the 10th of jan. Longer than i expected ( and what the doc told me ) so i dont know if i can grab the bat back again.

I'll just be swimming instead of surfing, yay, how exciting, i can't wait.

Think he has stuff lined up til end of the first week in Jan but you should suss out what his plans are. He has a model lined up and the AquaBat is going to be in her sexy photo shoot, think she has done work for Zoo mag...I might post some pics when I get them from Matt...

I've had the board for about a week now and the surf round here has completely crapped out!! So no successful shoots yet but fingers and toes are crossed. Got some talented surfers lined up for it when the swell gods produce the goods.

During the flat spell I did a few arty pics of the bat at wollongong city beach, posted here. Then yesterday Bret Walker, a surf artist from Stanwell park http://www.bretwalker.com gave me call to say there were a few small but clean and peaky waves up his end so we did a quick shoot on the waves available. I got a few shot whilst dodging the spearing boards of the million grommets on the peak!! And to add to that several large hammerheads were spotted down here that day, including at our beach - see what takes!!!??? ha ha.

Great stuff Matt...Brett does some great artwork and his site is definitely worth a look...Keen to see what he does on the Bat or the cover ( if he does ??? ).... And as far as I know, sharks dont eat Bats butthey dont mind chewing on dangling photographer legs ...who is next to ride the AquaBat ? , does your model want a tight white MORE the merrier t-shirt for the photo shoot ( for you to wet down first of course ??? ) one in the mail if needed....
