That's fine rico - but when did an outfit like Ripcurl do anything for nothing - I would love to see the marketing plans that might follow on from these presentations - even if they only subliminally link Ripcurl with the old amateur days when everbody slept in their cars, or in the mud down there.

larry - from the facts you've given i totally agree with you that this is a crass marketing exercise by rip curl. they're being total tightarses behind the scenes and will take all the public glory from parading these ex champions around

my only point is that there are possibly other ways to get better exposure for this issue and expose rip curl's hypocrisy than on this forum.

i know alot of people read these forums, but even so getting it mentioned elsewhere may be a better option. or it may be that that no mag will bite the hand that feeds them
