Lost: Hughey. Where are you???

The Eastern Seaboard has lost 1 x Hughey.
He has an important job in generating swell and keeping us sane. His mother is worried sick.
If anyone knows the whereabouts of this enigma, please send him to our side of the continent to report for spring duty.

Jeez.. one of the best surf years in a long time, and you can't give the fella a couple of weeks rest? It can't pump ALL the time! (although recent months in NSW have made me question that line).

The short term ain't so good - nothing significant for Sydney this week, apart from an increase in short-range E/NE swell mid-late week. Next week is looking a lot more interesting with the south swell window likely to become quite active.
For those of you interested in weather n' stuff, check out Super Typhoon
Ioke, heading directly towards Japan. I'm working on a tow surfing project with Red Bull in Japan, and we're monitoring this system very closely (probability of large surf is high, but the swell direction is not favourable for the preferred region). Wind speeds within Ioke are 130kts (gusts to 160kts) - this is a very powerful system.
