Board covers, new

Post by Rustt » Sun Sep 08, 2013 10:09 am

. Got some covers, I don't make these any more, rather sell them to you guys than ebay. They're new and good quality. $35 each plus postage, I have 2x6'4" These are very light covers, under a kilo with 5mm padding and made to last with YKK plastic zips.

, does that mean you don't make those specific type of covers or you don't make any covers?

If you've stopped making them completely, I'm gutted. Had hoped to buy all of mine from you. Was going to buy one when you got back from the Bluff last year, but while you were away, I scored a 2nd hand freebie from a mate. It's in good condition except for the shitty corroding metal zip

I still make them, just not these sort. I only make full 10mm travel covers as they are the only ones that are worth my while making and some people are willing to pay for.
Have made a great multi cover that is very different to anything around had a dozen crew using it and they all love it, will post it up soon with some pics.
Pity your not closer as I replace those rusty old zips for $25, as a matter of fact if you bring a one of my board covers back to me with a bung zip I replace it for free, happens very rarely with plastic sliders :)

Been working on a few boats lately, pays better the boardcovers. Website has changed to www.crustt.com , it's not very informative at the moment, my website guy is slacker than me, but the surfs good who cares :-D-:

Hey SW. Yep, mainly professional fishermen. Last job I asked if he wanted a quote, said no I just want a good job. :B
Sports fishos always want to screw me on the price, I walk away point them to Geelong.
I can make more money cleaning motel rooms, but it's more about being able to go surfing when I need to, can't afford o/s surf trips anymore, but I didn't need to on Monday 3-)

Yeah, you've had it pretty good this year. Here, there's often been too much swell and enough W in the wind to make it bumpy. Not complaining as it's still been a pretty good year. Had some great waves and a great hammering near you a few weeks ago. Only time I've been over there this year. Should have been doing more of it

Board bag came in the mail today. Very impressed with the quality at first glance ( it was a bit dark).

Stoked that the 6'0 bag fit my PCC 5'9 x 201/2 x 2 5/8 Stuey Diver in it. I forgot to ask if it would fit a fishy board in it.

Would recommend crustt bags to anyone. Great to see no metal bits on it!

Cheers macca.
