Are you using UV for fillers?

If so, don't, you are waisting good money and if you are it could well be the the filler is going off too fast meaning the wax doesn't have time to get to the surface.

Could also be dud wax in styrene… but I doubt it. Make sure it is wax in styrene though and not just styrene.

Mix your wax in before adding MEKP then get it on the board, don't overwork it.

Fillers are about the easiest part of the whole process.

Yes, wingy, time is important with UV, let the wax rise, this time of the year the UV is brutal. On recollection, I had some sticky ones in the past.

Try giving it a sand, it's only sandpaper – not going to break the bank if you go through a bit more.

Thought you mailed Miss FF?

Mate, you'd be surprised what happens…

I once resurrected a board for someone who'd forgotten to add catalyst to a deck lamination, it still 'more or less', sets with time. Pulled off as much as I could then glassed over and did a big cosmetic job.

Board needed up with iggy, but he was informed what had happened.
