carbon stripe tape??

does anybody know the name, or even better where i can get some in aus, of the tape that has the carbon stripes in it, like KS's merricks from the early 90s? kinda like what ...lost has on the nose of the black sheep model, but from memory the strips were spaced a bit wider ..... anyone know where i can get it?

i'm not after the carbon cloth tape that shapers sells.

dont think they make it anymore but try Colan....but they also supply Shapers...there's different widths and variations of carbon available , some are ok but need to be used correctly imo....

Last time I visited the Colan factory they had a few rolls of the carbon uni'd 4oz cloth laying about in their remnants section.
You might need to buy a roll though ontknow::

thanks guys - tryed colan and dont think they have it.

it's not actual carbon cloth that i'm after it's approx 100mm sheets with carbon reinforcing strips.

shapers have got tapes of various styles as per link below, as does colan and fgi I believe.

May not be the same as in the image. You can also buy full width unidirectional combined with e-glass from fgi.

there is somein production as we speak, just spoke to them, next week or 2 it'll be available thru shapers...thru Colan you gotta buy 5 rolls

oh well i'll wait and see what shapers come up with!
