Could i use the 6'6''KB blank? It'd definately fit in that blank, less work for me too hehe.

Just come from the shed, where i've made a full size half template. I know i don't need to, but damn it, i wanted to "see" what she's gunna look like, plus now i can safely tuck the original away so its safe from the kids haha. Drew it out on the concrete, and stood there admiring it for probably a little too long. Smoooooooth as silk, the curves are seamless. Might call her "shirley" or something like that.

I also recieved a mini pig template from the US, taken from a CC rider. Looks the goods too, but have to find a blank to fit it, as it needs to be "flipped" 180degrees on the blank. Not that confident yet, so it can wait. Im doing the egg first.

Been a while but i've templated, rough cut, and am starting to true up the rails. Not 100% on the rails, though it'll definately be turned up in the nose, maybe even some belly up front. Huie has given a few options. No hard edges on this though. Tint for sure, though i've only done one attempt so might end up a dogs breakfast. Still better than white!.

P.S the oval up near the nose was me playing around with maybe putting a concave under the nose. Probably won't. but if i ever do a concave, i'll use the spin template to draw it out.

Pics are of the bottom. I tried to give it some "belly" in the nose, and kept the rails turned up from the bottom til the end, though it gets less pronounced closer to the tail.

This pic makes it look more beefy in the nose than it is. It does have a bit of foam up there, but not that much!

Well the quiver cull didn't really work out ( have to wait til tax time i think ), so im out in the shed stuffing around, finishing off the egg. Been using the shapers soft foam block with some 150 to try and blend the nose in a bit more on my hullish inspired egg. Im hoping straightish outline ( the template has more curve, but i stuffed it up a little ), flat as f%ckk rocker, hull inspired bottom and one fin will = glide and trim heaven. Could be thinner in the nose, but my planing skills aren't quite up to scratch, and my shoulders couldn't hold up to thinning it out too much more haha.

Wanted to try the rounded bottom/hull type idea in the usual smallish beachies, of which can be fattish. Might hate it, might love it, might not enjoy it at all and throw it in the bin?!

Great looking board Beerfan, well done!
Looks similar to my 6"2' egg, which is far and away the most versatile board I own.
