Zipper busted:( FCS board bag.

Anyone know where/if i can get my zipper repaired on my board bag?

The things perfectly fine except for the zip, dont wanna have to waste money /materials just because the zips busted.

maybe a tent / tarp repairer could replace the zip. I know a bloke in brookvale, you in sydney?

Has a mate of mine get repaired by some people in brookevale for $15 or something around that. Ill ask him the name next time i speak to him...

There's a guy in Allambie who replaces zips.
9905 5124. Think it's about $40.

My oldest board bag (and still most used for travel) is over 15 years old - O&E. The reason for it is that they used a hard plastic zipper as it doesn't corrode. I have had an FCS cover last only 18 months before the zipper broke :evil:

Take it down to any marina - there you will generally find someone who either does upholstery on boats or a sailmaker - both use good quality stainless zips and should fix you up for about $20.

I've had it done at Newport Marina, but I'd expect D'albora at the Spit would have something similar.
