Maybe you could use Oldman's suggestion about fat bottoms and and call it "The Cellulite", better than the "fat arsed wombat"
Jaffa, I'm opinionated, and I'm sometimes right. So?

the thing is fast and I need more testing in decent waves but so far so good, definitely faster so I am stoked....the twinzer fins seem a little too far back so I am will play with fins but it has drive and speed ...a little under volumed for me but I am a bit lazy these days, cant wait to try it in good waves...stoked.... :D

How does it handle the low end speeds MP?

How much faster does it feel? 10%? 20%?

There’s the problem right there, how do you quantify and relative to what?

Unless of course you want to do a Roy, Prids? We’ll have you tracking at some glorious speed I’m sure.

One I had done, oh so many years ago, went very well, felt like you could spin on a top and it was over 9'.

Onya MP, for revisiting.

Nice mark!!.

The vanes/lead fins look a little too far away from the main fin, or is that just the pic angle?? Looks pretty sweet!!

I'll get a pic or 2 with fins in it and post....the fin placement was a guesstimate by my glasser and I from a pic of a board of an old twinzer but we then moved it back 1/2" coz I wanted it to be faster and drivier, coz the tail is quite wide and I also dont like the squirrelly feel and dont wanna nurse any turns, I think its pretty close to what I wanted, maybe a few tweaks in the next version but need more surfs to be sure.....

the dimples really work, I had it in decent waves today and it feels faster and almost like its slippery against the waters surfave, I raced past a few sections early til I adapted to the easy speed...WOW, stoked on it and will be doing more...the board is a bit under volumed for me and the Twinzer-wide tail needs some tweaking but there's a definite increase in speed, and effortless speed, make my mind boggle where Imay be able to run with this..... In the tiny mushy waves I first surfed it in, it felt a little slow on take off, but these waves were 1 ft dribble, but even then, once I got to the bottom and there was a little push, it takes off, almost like the layer of air really reduces the drag and the board slips across the surface quickly and with ease...but today the waves all had enough size and push, it felt faster and I found myself taking off on waves deeper and deeper and with good results, not bragging at all, it just works....the tail of the board is wide and with the twinzer, I need to tweak the fins to get a bit more hold coz it slipped a few times when I pushed hard on my backhand, but alot of positives and I am stoked on the speed factor, I will be doing more of these for sure..... 8) extra work but the rewards are there, just need to learn as much as I can and get em totally sussed out..... 8)

With the slippy feeling and air compressed feeling combined with some drive sounds fun wonder how it would go as a 2 + 1.

Can see all the people now using their boards as wickets for backyard cricket
