anyone know the best way to fix those tony spiderweb like compression dings, you know the ones that go brown under the crack in the glass.
i tried reglassing an old board, but i did a crappy job, so when i had to fix a new board i tried using fishing rod binding filler
it seems to have filled in the cracks and done the job.
cheers

marcus mate i'd advise against ever using solar cure and similar uv resins. they're quick fix products designed for those without the time for a proper repair. if you must use them, only use 'em on tiny dings. anything big and you need proper resin and glass. i'd say don't even use em on the small stuff--tons of crew have had problems with chipping/re-breaking after using uv resin.

not that i should really talk...i know plenty about ding repair and such but i'm so lazy i hate doing it. as a result you get a board with heaps of duct tape on it and a thread in the main room asking for a local repair guy :)
