God I hope so, but I have a nasty gut feeling this whole low energy period is going to culminate in a big winter bank busting storm which is going to leave us with boat harbours instead of Point breaks.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Pretty much Autumn here, swing from north east to northwest with some good sand doing some good impersonations of indo. Autumn was late in SA too.

Very unseasonably strong offshores in Bali and very average swell predicted for the WSL comp window

I'll be on the Goldy in 8 days, too far away for a look at the crystal ball?

The two locations seem to have an inverse relationship when it comes to swell and surf quality.

good runs down there invariably mean shitt surf here and vice versa.

I've noticed that over the years.
Then you get the odd weekend, usually around Easter, where the whole country pumps at the same time.
