Never busy when you don't look left.

How big was Nationals Trev?

And crowd.

It's 3ft here and looking pretty weak and windy.

You were underplaying that Steve. That was fcuken fun.

Exactly, it was fun.

It was no serious E swell.

Just had a long look on dark: 3-4ft.....maybe the odd 5ft set. Not much energy as the tide came in.

I'm quite confident now in saying this swell is as it appeared ......a very fast moving system that was severely duration limited.

Unless we wake up and it's 8ft tomorrow morning.

I got some weird elbow injury today...anyone had that? A dull ache with weird twinges.

Any numbness/tingling in the digits?

no, dull ache and and pain when i flex it, really noticeable about halfway through a flex from extended to contracted.

Sounds like a flexor strain. Does it hurt when you flex against resistance?

yeah, not much more than without resistance though.

too late to ice it? Ibuprofen?

Its a pity that Nick died, he'd a probably been able to help you with a diagnosis.

Yeh, I'd still ice it. Don't think you need the ibuprofen. Maybe compression as well. See how it feels in the morning.

Too close to the rocks for anyone on the inside.

Not super big Steve. 3 to 4 ft. Some serious overhead ones being picked up out past the jump off slab. But a long wait for those sets. Tide buried it about 8 o'clock. Back by 9 though. There's a serious sand slug just off the entrance to the park. Made for some quick sections to get past the rocks before heading into Johnson's. While bunch of guys and gals sitting just outside waiting for you to get buried.

Crowd was OK. Wish I was fitter so I could hassle a bit more.
It's a different wave. I actually have to be about 6" further forward on my board when paddling to be able to catch them early enough.

Apparently some good stuff at Alex.

Front page this morning. Sunshine Beach. Monster waves may be overstating it but it's big for up here.

those days are like heaven on the Sunny Coast, shame you grow old waiting for the next one to come around.

Stormy 6ft+ here.....no E swell, just raggedy S from the consolidation of the ex-TC with the cold front in the lower Tasman.
No takers.
