After I drop my kid off at school I'm gonna head somewhere. PK reef you say. What about the dry step section 2secs after take off, or is it breaking wide enough to miss it ? Any other nutters out there ? If so it could be an option. Don't think I'd fancy it solo at that size otherwise

I couldn't see the rock. The bigger ones were breaking wide. Beach actually has decent lines. No one out then. Most places here cleanish with bit of texture on the face though lots of spots not the best shape.

Sounds a bit iffy. For now though, this just a moment ago. South maroubra. Check the clip of this bomb breaking way out, that finally comes into sight.

And a wall up north end

Carnage here. Watched waves breaking maybe 7-800m due east of the pool bombie. Promenade washed away and closed. No one out except for the shallows which is 3'-4'

Heading south now. Just checked Cronulla stretch on the way thru. Point is a no go . Total wash thru from the north. Shark island is looking completely insane . Breaking like a hippo with its mouth wide open. Beachies are closing out mostly.

all to yourself- if you can paddle thru 300 odd meters of whitewater, or not get shredded rocking off.

Few guys getting clean walls to themselves. Sets big open walls.

Can definately see the attraction of a point break. Watched a guy rock off much further in. Regardless of set wave size he just cruised out slowly, never in danger of copping one on the head. Then just sat on the shoulder. A huge set came but he just casually paddled out of the way into deeper water and was fine. Looked way easier than paddling through a beach break.

The in betweeners were big but not crazy and fast walls.

Dropped from yesterday but some top to bottom 8-10ft sets freight training the length of the Point.
I felt more rattled than yesterday, which seemed comical and outlandish.
This was just pure focussed power and and a 20knot WNW to NW devil wind came up strong, making take-offs insane freefalls.

I thought I'd lost my soul when I got out there, I couldn't breathe properly, I had no strength in my limbs. The current was dragging you deeper into the peak, the takeoff on the back button was really challenging and technical, no easy entry.
Got a big wide one to start and got caught behind, big long hold down, few on the head.

Few more then a straight up 10 foot bomb to end the surf, big freefall, vertical drop with air underneath me, locked in the whole ride, screaming on a 7'6", one of the waves of my life.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
