Sorry to piss on your parade but my experience with Byron weekdays is uncomfortably crowded surf, unless there are savage onshores blowing. :(

Is the surf in sydney as shit as it is here?
Riding hulking boards in tiny waves is fun for a while but I need to sink a rail soon. Maybe friday.

No surf, but we just had a tornado at Kurnell, with more storms hitting the coast & Mountains as we speak.
