Judging by that wind outside there's a big S swell and a big dump coming.

Some snow too.

when you say a big dump coming ... do we take that to mean you tucked into a hearty lamb casserole last night?

Bronte was quite biggish this arvo when I looked at it. A couple of guys sitting way out in the middle dodging sets.....a few on the point doing much the same.

DY is still going off but the cloud has killed any chance of seeing the waves coming

With the hood/long sleeve spring suit combo? Gotta be. There's a bit of a stiff and upright depowering of the second half of the turn going on, if you don't mind me saying steve. Do you suffer from a bad back?

To tell the truth eggs are one thing I avoid buying when I’m grocery shopping. So you may say I’m an intermittent egg buyer who usually lets someone else buy them.

Hey QSTQ there were a couple of Brit Billabong sponsored surfers hanging at the mid west break in Bali when we were there last Jan. really smooth styles. Almost interchangeable. Thing was they both wore long sleave vests every day. It was like 29 Degree water and 31degree humid weather. :-?

Sunburn beany. Don't forget, we only see the sun for 45 minutes every summer. If we're lucky

two check turns half way along the wave GSTQ, fcuk knows why he put that in his edit. Must have been hard up for material.

btw, that was a piss poor edit that really failed to capture the mood of the day or even the wave quality on offer. Perfunctory lineup shots -at the least wait for a set- and a bit and pieces ADHD kid in ALDI editing pace that was wholly inapproriate.
Mid morning is the worst time to shoot the Ox in winter due to the angle of the sun being right behind the best part of the wave but at the least he should have realised surfing the Ox is about the whole wave and how a rider gets in rhythm with it, or not.

That guy, I'll bet sheepstations is a semi-retired cube monkey who rarely surfs and is grinding out some nickel and dime video jobs.
still it was good to see some of my mates tearing it up and that hood looked about as creepy and gimpish as I thought, or more.
