Yeah ... whats with all the gymnasiums ... theres like 2 in every street ... yet Brisbane is still inundated with fatties ... they're not eating any of that sushi I can tell ya.

Sorry about hijacking Sheps weather channel with Brisbane wildlife studies ... although winter does cometh to the river city ... surf ? ... nada.

not that i'm overly curious, mind you. it's not like I geek out over weather and give two fcuks about what seabreeze says. with CW and sn being way off the money for the last month or two, and wanting to charge money to look beyond 4 days, seabreeze is as good as anything else out there and they're free. and I'm not paying for something that's wrong 50% of the time, huh?

you still can't beat keep an eye on the synoptic and rock up and check the ocean with your own eyes.com ... if there's waves you surf them, if there isn't you go do work.

That's the way. Check the model output Synoptics and cross check with Ascat and buoy data. Personal observation and going surfing trumps all.laughing my arse off at the SN report this morning. It's ruler edged butter texture 2-3ft. Glorious beachies and dingleberry has given it a four. Fcucking he'll , did any of these cnuts finish primary school.

well I think this winter can suck its own cock.

I don't come to early winter looking for head high prettiness, I feel a strong need for crazy bombing shit that clears the water and removes sand from beaches and breaks the shit out of a lot of boards.

All the compu charts are out by miles because they are written for normal years and this is not a normal year, it is a pre mega El Nino, inflated by a switching Indian Ocean Dipole, which means, sorry, fcuk you east coast of Australia. Every forecast chart will deflate and we might as well get used to it.

I feel sorry for forecasters; for surf reporters, well they're gonna be wrong no matter what

Time to start planning a pretty serious and extensive Nth Pac oriented winter season methinks.

it was underwhelming and the wind switch to the W was late but there were some late tubes to be had.

The only charts > +180hrs I bother to look at (out of laziness, not because I think it's superior) are the Swellnet WAMS.... 29th Holy dooley.

the 29th? Has just one of those 16-day out forecast swells ever happened in the history of the world?

Yes well, I'm fishing for any comments from eyes on other sources, what does seabreeze say, Braithy?
Kidding, <: That's me putting that comment in the rubbish...
Anyway, is this the first full on ECL progged for the year???

What's funnier than a punter using seabreeze is people actually paying money for a 16-day forecast.

There's more chance of catching a fairy being gang-raped by a pack of leprechauns at the end of the rainbow... Than there is a 16-day forecast coming to fruition.

Haha.

tb fair, the sixteen day forecast did accurately predict the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbour in 1941

Yes Braithy, point taken. That's why I'm asking here if anyone else has any noticed ECLs in any long range charts at all?

BTW, you only have to pay for the 16day surf forecast. The charts are free.
