I love swells/weeks like this.

little windows of opportunity everywhere, pulses for surfing, lulls when a rockfish session could go off in the full moon run-up, wind reversals around rain squalls......everything tidally influenced and completely out of reach of internet jiggery-pokery. no hype

Duck diving one morning out at Tugun I resurfaced with a fish on my board ... scared the fcuk out of both of us.

No duck diving today ... 136 double fluro lights need to be installed. How much fun can one have in Brisbane ? But wait theres more.

I'm not so sure that main course is going to be as fullfilling as some menus are making out.

it'll be light and variable for most of tomorrow and the wind will swing to the W/NW Sat.

no cause for alarm.

looking at the synoptic, I think winds'll be a little stronger tomorra on a dying swell. Tweed buoy is already on the downturn from this morning.

Satdee arvy might be good tho ... if the lulls aren't huge or if they are, the beachies are holding it together.

seabreeze's latest model runoff has the dropoff holding into saturday with no noticeable (maybe a minor one) rise at all.

Use a few different ones. Surfline, bom & cw. Might tune in and read one of matson's forecasts... But fcuk lately, they've all been all over the place.

The last month and a bit seabreeze has nailed it for around my house.
