I've been listening to bone thugs n harmony and jack ladder, so I'm feeling poetic.

I'll be hiding from big brother, because I admire the tricks little brother has learnt in the lee.The rounded faces of baby brother will be shining back at me, they need no iron clad validation thrusting at the sea. Big brother shows them this.

Trying too hard?

Sorry I'm moving my spot from under the bridge, the waters will rise and I mustn't be tempted by the demon drink.

Godspeed then Shearer. I recommend the 10'7" widow maker.

You'll be in my thoughts.

I surfed one of the local points in my lunch break......low tide, as square and hollow as i've ever seen it. By the time I was done shooting the shitt with frank and searl I had fifteen minutes. I jockeyed and got called into a wide set on the corner. Bottom dropped out of and I pancaked from crest to trough then got back slammed into super shallow sand bar that felt like concrete. No leggy. Swim of shame. Still picking a ton of sand out of every orifice.

I attack tomorrow , out of the rising sun.

I think this could b an historic week of point surf ahead.

Period is relation to swell height. Even though it's close range the bigger the swell the bigger the swell period also.

Merks, period means fukall in these close range ECL swells, just keep an eye on the winds and make sure you get the tide right.
