It felt like the start of autumn this morning. Breezy west winds, nip in the air, all it needed was a bit of swell to go with it.

".....I kinda got an ominous feeling about a few gnarly cyclones up north. " Braithy.

How you feeling Braithy? What are those mangoes telling you? Summer's almost gone.

Yeah the mango tree is empty as. In November it looked like a season to remember. I don't think we've eaten a mango from it in 3-wks.

Chillies were quiet too.

If summer was one long spring, does that mean autum will be summer and we have no winter?

Get ready for El Nino Braithy.

You're going to rue the day you moved back to QLD.

El Nino sounds so promising and full of potential too. If only.

I was going to go camping with the cheese and tin lids down on the river this week; I've just seen the forecast. I should pull the pin shouldn't I?

Would just like to know if it's gonna be a little bit or a LOT of rain? Anyone?

Maybe put it to a family vote.
Sounded like an ordeal last year, it might be the last camping trip you ever have if it happens again.

Joys of summer I guess Steve. Once can't have their cake and eat it too.

What size was it down your way this morning and how was the peaky tradewind swell handling the big dawn high tide?

it was three feet on the sets.

buried under the high tide.

banks came to life as the water drained off but the nor-easter ruined it on the points.

wouldv'e been fun at a few backbeaches today but I didn't have the time to hunt.

Unbelievable rainfall figures this summer.

28.8 for Feb so far smack bang in the middle of the summer monsoon.

490 last Feb.

190 is the average for Feb.

Models coming on line for a CS cyclone next week. Maybe in time for the Quikpro. Maybe.

Well Brisbane has just recorded its driest summer since 1986, where we then stayed in a strong El Niño for almost 2 years!!!
