At this stage it's too far out to have any real confidence on local winds over there for that period.

Swellwise, it's still a little too far out, but based on the long range charts at present, I'd say make the most of your first few days there, where you should have some fun, inconsistent 3-4ft SW groundswell on November 2nd, waning off over the next few days back down to around 2ft by Nov 4th, with a similar sized (2ft) new pulse arriving around Nov 4th.

Beyond that still a little too far out to have any real confidence on swells.

Remind me again later this week and I'll update then.

Latest models are starting to hint at quite a nice looking SW swell towards the second half of your trip. If you believe today's models it might even be epic! A lot can change in 10 days though...

Loofy, PM sent mate.

Bugger about the board length...do they (Jetstar) seriously measure it though?

The boards fit into a luggae cage so if your overlength, they just wont fit unfortunately!
No worries mate.

My mate did fly jetstar to Bali and took a 6'6". Said they measured it when checking in, but he just leaned the surf bag over and cheated when measuring. He said they only measured it on the way out of Oz....not in Bali on the way home.

So sounds like you are stuffed to a certain extent.

Looks like you turn up into a bit of a lull so you might get a couple of small days to start. Thursday you might be stuck with Despos as your only option.

Little swell (3ft) should pop up Fri/Sat and by Monday/Tuesday it will be pumping. Nothing huge but CB looks like it should be pretty solid (6+) and Restaurants might even have a small wave if you're lucky.

Winds look mostly light and variable although you'll probably still get the trades kick in a bit from time to time.

Perfect trip really if the forecast holds. A few days to warm up then some juice to finish.

Deserves one of these
