Chopes anyone?

Post by Donweather » Mon May 25, 2009 1:58 pm

I'm hoping to see some off tap Chopes footage come the first weekend in June (5th/6th and 7th) with the arrival of a solid long period SW groundswell.

I'd be checking Longinus' bouys before making that type of commitment
What's the difference between Elizabeth Warren & Kamala Harris?

One's pretending to be an Indian & the others pretending she isn't!

Yep Don, it's lining up pretty nicely now that those frontal systems are starting to skirt up the eastern sid of NZ. But again its a case of too little to late for the contest :P

Yeah Luke Egan must be spewin. I think they probably lucked out with the poorest two weeks at Chopes. Looking at the next 10 days up there looks to be pretty damn good with non stop SW/S groundswells on offer....some of which will be sizey and powerful.

lol, yeah, virtual spanner has been applied to fine tune said virtual buoy accordingly. If you scroll down a little on this page you'll see the 5 day forecast for chopes: http://www.surfingatlas.com/spot/33

Not too inspiring now but something wicked that way goes.

Sorry, should have clarified these are Australia's dates. Don't forget Tahiti is east of the dateline, hence it would be 4th/5th/6th over there.
