Wednesday onwards is lining up very nicely. Maybe our run of pitiful swell is coming to an end. Late next week is looking like the pick of the forecast.

About time Mr Huey got his act together for the East coast... bloody Mexicans stealing all the good stuff.

Lowish period easterly trade-wind swell. On the other hand ...

http://www.weatherzone.com.au/models/in ... 0&focus=mh

shows a bit of a low forming (speculative still) and there's a decent fetch running for a few days so...

those wet blue-green lumps, sort of things that are out to sea at the beach and sort of move in and craft can be put on them and move a bit this way and that might be turning up soon ... what is that stuff again?

I missed that on the average charts I was consulting. Fingers crossed for a highly speculative mid tasman low as I have an urge to ride a pin tail in something juicy.

^^^^

Well it's getting some size, a few abt 200 metres outside Wedding Cake and nasty reefs working inside Lurline Bay while on my mid morning constitutional.

Confused directions from SE and ESE swells. The shorter ESE is somehow and sometimes matching up with shorter SE thus the bomb sets. I think the long SE period passing under NZ will give a better result.
