manly was semi alright by this afternoon.
i tried DY at around 12, but it was just slop in the strong winds, so i moved to Manly. by about 3, there were some solid 3ft sets coming through.
what was it like after that anyone?

<deleted> Point (near <deleted>) was shoulder high on the sets about 4-5pm on Sat arvo. Glassy and not too much of a crowd. Rights off the point and lefts off the bank a hundred metres further down.

I heard the following day that South <Secret Spot> was 6-8 feet at that time. When I got there on the Sunday it was back down to waist-shoulder high, but was blown out by 1:30pm when I left. Tryng to catch the lefts paddling into the offshore gale was like trying to fight a fire hose. Glad I didn't run anyone over - couldn't see a thing!

Sorry fellas! Just got pulled up by a friend for doing the Wrong Thing in naming those spots. Hence the edit. Maybe I should move this post to the "inflict needless suffering on your fellow human" forum?
