June: above average to very good
July: above average- sand better though and a few tasty east swells took advantage of this.
August: average to quiet- but laid some nice sand in the right spots.

Be interested to hear your thoughts Steve on these latest systems/fetches, with two inbound swells making landfall later this week....1st one from the northern flank of the current Tasman high, with the second one from the low to the NE of NZ a day or so ago.steve shearer wrote:Welcome to Spring.
I've always found a few strange things happen when multiple swells (from similar directions) are forecast to coincide (at the beach) at the same time.

And am also interested in the sudden drop in the AAO and the progged strong frontal system for next week.
I remember Sep 2010 with massive straight S groundswell (Scardy's Fiji bomb swell).
