g'day matt, nice to see you back around the traps as well. I still haven't managed to get the porsche round to your mums cafe yet. What was the name again? As for my health, funny you should ask, in bed with a fever thanks to an almighty dose of the flu which came straight on the heels of an ear inf...

Styleestah - hate to break it to ya but there's nothing what so ever secret about kurrawyba point. C'mon, travel a little further mate. as for Crackneck being exposed, perhaps this explains why the hordes will now be down at indys trying to get a covershot like Jughead. FWIW one K.Slater was apparen...

Warshaw references most of the best surf lit in Zero Break at some point or another. If you read the profile on him in TSJ a few years back you'll appreciate that he is as close to an authority on this subject as anyone could be. Despite that, he still puts out some pretty corny work amongst the gem...

brothers, this complete article + numerous others are in Matt Warsaws book: Zero Break 1777-2004 which is actually a pretty good read. There is a goodmix of stuff, even though a lot is not new and you may have read elsewhere before. I picked it up in an airport instead of wasting $10 on ASL or ALB a...

We could really go to town on this one but is it worth it?!#$?? The mags in question are not really of any interest to me because they do seem to be just a vehicle for ads/contests and not really have much else to say. They throw in the odd trip of cobbled-together pro-ho's posing as mates but I los...

57, nice topic, sorry its taken me a while to get back to you. This is the sort of thing that I love to do after a couple of days off when there is a bit of swell running and you have a longish wave at your disposal to really get a feel for things. I've tried most of the F/foils range as well as few...

Well here's some irony for you, I was locked out of my internet & email for most of last week and missed all of the above banter. What a bloody shame. Thanks to everyone who contributed, whether it was with actual advice or just in their own special way. Feel quite quilty now that i've seen a...

one night in bangkok....
Well, one week actually. Over here on a work gig and haven't got a clue about the place. Managed to get to a fantastic local seafood resturant on the water tonight with some local colleagues but have no ideas otherwise. Anyone who can suggest some "must-do" activities that won't land me in jail or d...

shit that is a wild photo platty. How are those concaves!##$@%! i'M guessing this is a photo of a campbell bros board from the 70s when they were into tri fins. Still, it gives some insight. Whitey, I must confess to always coming back to thrusters as well although the ultimate performance combo tha...

I went to uni with the infamous Mr DC Green as he is known to the media. Classic character with a formidable brain. His life is not that far removed from lash clones. At one point I believe that he held the record for the annual race from Warringah aquatic centre to sydney uni. 22 minutes. + he paid...

bonzer longboards
crew, Am just in the midst of a design brainstorm over a new longboard and keen to get it made with the 5 fin bonzer set up. It's going to be be a modern-ish shape with a low volume nose ( a la Skip Frye) and modern rocker/rails due to using the first blank we could find lying around. We're thinking...
