Juu nin to iro. Ten people are ten different colours.

Now if its all the same to you, I'll just get back to my Radio Birdman..........'cause you're never alone with a Smith & Wesson baby.

BTW - is there such a thing as too much bodysurfing?

mahalo.

I think you'll have to forgive them platty, they know not what they say. Anyone who begrudges a quality ding repairer their fee is living in lal la land. It takes years of learning to be good at this - as opposed to the shop grommet being given a few boards to work things out on! By all means fix yo...

Thanks platty. I haven't got any answer from Willy on the GW yet. Will call him tomorrow to try and finalise it - one way or the other.

Sorry for the wait. Will be away a heap over the next few weeks so will try to sort this first.

That quiver in the journal is insane. Overkill really. I hate to say it but so many of them look the same. Still, whatever gets you to the top ...... They are all beautiful boards, no doubt about that though. All quiver freaks should pay attention to the booklet that comes with the SPROUT DVD. it ha...

CollNarra, Gotta say that I can completely identify with Wanderers logic. It may not be a true collectable but its a nice old board and should ride ok. The groovy name is almost motivation enough on its own. I have a little Mccoy single fin from the early 80s that is almost a similar case; although ...

A mal is.... A man whose name is actually Malcolm. Or in French I think it means sickness. Have never liked this term for longboards and never will. I think we are talking about longboards and what defines them. For me a longboard is defined by overall shape and concept as much as anything. A vibe e...

what's it like to surf velzy by the way? V-land = Heavy. In a nice way. Sad to hear about DV passing. I never met him but he always seemed like an interesting and passionate dude. There was a great piece on him in TSJ recently. one of those guys whose influence on surfing is probably benefitting al...

Wanto, you're right about the dedication of time but wrong on the stereotypes. Surfers with corporate jobs are all around you. Its a constant juggle of time & tide but plenty of people do it. Two friends of mine who wear suits to work most days just got back from 3 weeks in indo including back to ba...

In Japanese you could say: Juu nin to iro Which translates as: ten people/ ten colours. Ie: each to their own. Noseriding, like any aspect of surfing, feels good when done well and probably looks good too. As someone pointed out early on in this thread, its a good way to win contests. So, if thats w...

Coastola; Lincoln Pasco. He usually shapes shortboards under his Volare label out of Erina. You can read his Volare logo on the board if you look closely althogh you probably won't recognise this as it is completely different to the usual Volare logo. I can post contact details if you like. He's mad...

No worries platty. Happy to share the love. Look forward to seeing the Hot Roc Thinking a bit more about it today LongyG, there was not much info out there when I decided to make this board cause I don't think that many longboards have been made with Bonzers. Most bonzers are made for Hawaii/semi gu...

Thanks for the link Morgan.

Lemon or lime with water in the is good for your liver and system in general, especially in the morning after you have fasted for a few hours. Don't really understand the mechanism of action but the missus is a naturopath and says so....so I humbly obey. Nice to hear some of our more experienced col...

Alex,

I think you'll find there are patents involved. Talk to a lawyer if your business is serious. If not, give the game away and just go surfing with all the free time you have.
