Re: The Duke dethroned as our surfing history is rewritten

Probably because I spend my working life report doing projects and writing up the results in govspeak. Like these last months I been flat out jumping between both worlds and often forget when I need to adjust the delivery to suit circumstances. Now I know  I don't dis(parage) surfers or anyon...

Re: The Duke dethroned as our surfing history is rewritten

Just can't see why you want to hijack it with side issues. Gee I reckon purri's arguments albeit ever so slightly left of centre as they may be, are no less relevant than jm55's Dino, I'm obviously missing the point. I don't see how they relate to who was the first surfer in Australia. I don't disa...

Re: The Duke dethroned as our surfing history is rewritten

Re surfresearch post and quoting loosely. Local surf activities: FFS sake, the tide came in between BCE 14K and 6.5K in a series of up and downs. Thus the relevance of local activities are only documented if culturally relevant to major social observances. Petroglyphs record culturally significant ...

Yep. I had nice clean if a bit full waves. Got a decent barrell despite it being full.
Was all set to go back at low tide but got called to Brissie to help out with some work.
Worth the money, though. 8)

Love it when Qld winds a State of Origin....every bastard's hung over the next morning!!! Trev did you get any of this swell a...
