Tats let it all hang out, but apparently thats not what the judges are looking for. it seems you need a slick marketing plan to get your across the line in first place. surfed a south coast beachie this morning, 3-4ft, a frames, barrels, glassy, 2 other lads out, peaks up and down the beach going unridden...so good it made me want to write a poem about it...

geez seals v indo - are we comparing apples with apples? if you get some nice accomodation, a trip to seals in autumn would be hard to beat...you get waves, you both have a good holiday...hard to beat an uncrowded 2-3ft offshore aussie beachie, no evils/distractions to imperil your life and/or relat...

i only saw the last half but it seemed like Medina's positioning was way better - he was on the inside catching waves with clean faces while Parko was taking off on crumbly bombs.

i saw a (that?) ray jump at snapper the other day. couldnt say what type, but def a triangular shaped grey thing. got a fair bit of air jumping into a reasonable breeze.
saw a dark grey shape in a wave late one arvo a bit later in the week. lad who was closer swore it was a 5-6ft noah
