Re: Where did you surf today ?
Washed in at Bondage. If anyone went to Ours and checked it / surfed it and/or took fotos please post. Must have been insane there today. Saw Tom Whitiker (I think) get an absolute bomb at Bronte Point. Almost triple over-head face. A couple of other guys just got washed in after the jump off same ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Bronnee reef with about 60 of my closest friends. Managed to jag 3 good closeouts. Plenty of fish about with the warmer water this morning.
The mid morning crowd should score, it was cleaning up with the tide...

Re: ASP World Tour 2010
Surfing and the natural lulls between sets provides the perfect downtime for all the revenue raising product placement and the other shit we all have to tolerate between waves on the webcasts. The downtime between waves should be looked by advertisers as the perfect ad break  Up to 10 minutes ...

Waxy toe - tick (although haven't had any pain develop) Nasal flood - tick This one must be a little weird for people who don't know of it. Have "flooded" over the wifey's face a few times as well. It must be disconcerting when it releases over someone as the water comes out at body temperatu...

Re: Local bullies
Couldn't agree more Mical. Because I mostly surf one spot (but can range all up and down the Sunny Coast when I feel like it), I try to give visitors a fair go. It's not too hard to acknowledge them with a smaile or a nod as they paddle out. Then the stage has been set. They need to show they respe...

Re: Local bullies
- One idiot on a SUP out at crowded Mona trying to take every set wave from way out back. Took off through the crowd, fell off and nearly sent about 4 crew to Mona Hospital with head injuries. Deserves a punch in the throat - Similar situation to above with a Goat Boat. Deserves a punch in the thro...

Re: Thoughts on a Macaronis Resort trip.
^^^ Yep, Curly's points are on the money 20 days is great. Means you should score at least 2 swells, probably 3 and maybe 4 if you get lucky. Much more choice of waves and flexibilty with swell size, direction and winds . Way better choice than Maccas IMO as well. The Kandui website provides a good ...

I didn't see this but.....jeez Dane Reynolds ROBBED Gavin Gillette in this heat. Look at the scores Dane got.....pair of high 8's for waves that were getting mid 5's on the days judging scale. They must've decided that old Gavin Gillette's dog had had his day. http://triplecrownofsurfing.com/pipeli...

Re: Thoughts on a Macaronis Resort trip.
Only been to Maccas by boat so limited knowledge - my 2 bobs: It's great but peak season can be crowded and a bit of a shit fight, even though everyone is trying to be cool (except the Brazzos). I have heard the camp is fairly popular with Brazzos. There were no surfers at the Maccas camp both times...

MR Prids Strangest looking board i think i have ever viewed on the small screen. Like the idea. Keen to hear if it works. Like the 2 boards in one thing - similar to Slater's Pipe board in concept yes? Different front and different tail in order for the board to achieve different things. Hope it wor...

Re: who's seen some bizzaro atmospheric phenomena?
My father has seen what he thought to be ball lightning. In an electrical storm some lightning hit a power pole. Out of the base of the pole he said a ball of lightning about the size of a mini-mina formed up and rolled along the grassy kerb until it reached the next power pole and then it just got ...

Occy sounds like he's had a skinful of piss - or at least a few beers. He's slurring his words more than usual. Like a repeat of his Mundaka commentary last year.
