Decent.
Wasn’t hitting the banks well except the main spot and cleaned up a bit more as I was leaving.

It was far from epic out front, a wee bit fat as the incoming tide drowned it, but glorious nonetheless.

I hunted around the local stretch and it was hit and miss.
One place working with some bodies on it.
Went the substandard uncrowded option and today it backfired.
It was terrible.

How good were the conditions ... fucking amazing. I just walked down the road and had a very pleasant 2 hour paddle.

I got zapped by a stingray in the surf last Tuesday. Just a glancing blow, but fuck me dead didn't it hurt.

While it does seem rather fruitless to persist in surfing the substandard dribble on offer in Bondi, its fantastic that the Beans makes the effort. Theres heaps of older people who don't, and at 67, he can kook out where and whenever he likes.

He said later in Endless Summer 11 that in reality they didn’t know Cape St Francis hardly ever broke that good and now with houses there the dunes make it worse. However J Bay was the real deal. I didn't know he made eleven endless summer movies. You really missed it. Shoulda been here yesterday.
