I was watching a vid which included JJF waxing his board before going out at Pipe. I noted that he waxed his tail pad.
John John could wax his balls for all I care ... he's an amazing surfer, but I'm still not buying any of his expensive board-shorts.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Takes a massive swell to make "the roy" work. There used to be a nice left-hander off the "block" just after it was installed. Thats the storm water drain just north of the pool. Other novelty waves nearby are "brown water" in the basin and the "kick" behind the pool ... again, big swell needed to m...

Chris Brock Sky at a pretty good price.
Weird outline and fin placement I reckon but probably collectable.

Highest humidity on record today. Still fcuking unpleasant at 10:20pm.
You mean rain?
Probably Dew Point rather than humidity.

Unless he'd confusing humanity or humility with relative humidity and thinking dew point has something to do with Gaza.

Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?

Since 1990 when Great Whites were protected they have made up some lost ground and are back up to about 70 percent of their historical level. But still, the recovery is going slowly. Females don't start reproducing until they're about 15-feet long. I'm not so sure we can have a high degree of confi...

He's also been caring for his father who has dementia ... so where Tyler has made it a crusade to blame her father publicly, it would appear that Owen doesn't hold a similar resentment.

You need to read the Surf Reports if you are in a confused sea state. Might be too much dope.

More super fun junky 3ft b-grade point surf.
Reasonably glassy with a confused sea state ... better than expected.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Last day off the year with more small, clean peaks. babyfood is fine with me. I had a bank to myself for a while, until a couple of the local fellas saw me get a couple of little runners all the way to the beach ... it didn't last long, the tide swallowed it faster than a benchong on Loofy's cock.

I have to acknowledge Surfing World too- too expensive for me to buy though.
Thanks... subscription only, probably should get one: $74 for 6 bi monthly issues
You want to subscribe to Bi Monthly ...

*Mitchell Rae Do you work in marketing or advertising or something, Yuke? Yes it’s been going on a long time, doesn’t mean we should approve of it. Ah yes Rae ... my bad. I once pursued a career in advertising, but couldn't stand the fuckwittery of many involved in the craft. Most people in busines...

Co-founder of Tracks Alby Falzon lives there or close by doesn’t he?
Wonder what his take is?
Alby lives on acreage up behind Scotts Head ... and probably isn't all that interested in any of that, although he's been know to get excited about Mitchell Ray's surfboards.

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Actually drove out there while we were waiting for our Pizzas this arvo. Nothing is built yet and topography varies from 100% flood prone as far as I can see to slightly elevated. No views. A bit of bush. Rumours in town are that it’s not selling that well….maybe sour grapes….we will see. What we w...

Yeah, but there’s making a quid and there’s spruiking. I don’t begrudge the tradies who work on these housing developments. Lending your name and promoting the area is way different in my books. It's business. Someone approaches a high profile celebrity, in this case a surfer to help spruik real es...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

I’m kind of uncomfortable about making these moral judgements on how people earn their income. I’ve had people on this forum have a dig because I worked for a big mining company. Clearly these people never need steel or copper or batteries or……. And then there’s Steve, who is paid by a company who ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Borderline early. Not really worth it but nice to be in the water. Got one longish one at the start so I wasn’t too frustrated. Beach is finally super packed with tourists on the high tide. Just had a swim. Might have another crack for the late. Head down the road ... there's heaps of breaks beside...
