having swum most of the world in the past 40 odd years, I think I'd swim back to the South African Eastern Cape.

Beautiful place, I agree, but I imagine that the politics are a little violent at present.

Patagonia-beautiful scenery and a bit wild, still.

Africa to see a few more animals.

Galapagos Islands.

Or maybe somewhere more civilised where the food is excellent as I am getting a bit too old for all that adventure stuff, like Italy or Spain.

Well, old ones and not so old ones, does your surfing improve with age as all good things should, or is it decaying with the rest of your body?
