Re: Shark attack in the harbour !!!
Without trying to sound cocky, I note my previous comments made last month with respect to shark attacks coinciding with full moons!!! . Blame Eddy: Some thoughts on this, eddy currents in bays increase with bigger tide difference around the new and full moons. Eddies swirl nutrients small fish com...

Tracks, get your myths right, go back consult your earliest issues, learn about Avalon as it really was! Not your latte induced hallucinations go back to the days of Bob Evans, Ted Spencer, Fly, Jonty, and the crew that came with the loss of length in boards. Some of them may still be elder statesma...

A good surf Gag, what's yours?
A good surf day at the local small crowd, good vibes, one annoying International Visitor (IV) behaving badry, and genuinely not competent. A flat lull comes IV asks what has happened I say loudly somebody hasn't put money $2.00 coin in the meter box to make it work. Crowd gets it! ask each other, "h...

That covers both sides of the question, Dubya wouldn't be capable of learning anything he was taught and Nat and Beau well we'll have to see how Bryce turns out??chrisb wrote: George snr & Dubya, Nat & Beau..
What about the Fitzgeralds? The Aikuas etc?

Re: seeing sharks while surfing
Surfing Dalmeny and a strange shape kept bobbing up and down floating towards the break, every bob it changed shape but was overall black and shiny except one large pink red bit. Turns out it was half an adult seal bitten clean in half. Did I stay out? No way! Not a propellor or stuff just like that...

Burning boards and sacrificing Virgins
Has that got your attention? Global warming has nothing to do with loss of quality surfs! Our lack of the required sacrifices to the surf gods does. We no longer believe and the politically correct pundits would have us become faithless flatwater SUP paddlers.. Regain the true faith, bring back the ...

The Universe: God free since 13.7 Billion B.C.E Then again if you consider "The meaning of Liffe" and the prayers offered therein to a supreme being so awefully etc. HIS full name would most likely be Hugh Mungous which as a dutiful Australian we would shorten to Huey or if poofy Hugo. Re: Huey
Being a surfer from the times before ( that is when men were men and balsa trees were fearful) I recall the farmers would request rain by saying "send her down Huey" as they didn't wish to say God's real name. Which by the way is Harold. This is evident in the prayer; "Our Father who art in Heaven H...
