Was at Ulus last Sunday half hour before dusk watching. Got even a bit bigger than pics above and was sheet glass. Last two guys out came in after getting smashed by a monster set. Creased my 6'5" Simon two days before after two weeks of pretty bloody insane surf.

Cause there weren't any. Fellow surfers retrieved the bitten off leg and packed it in ice. Very sad,

Yep, have a 7'2" speed egg. Also beautiful and sure of line in the barrel.

Stuck a 7 inch dolphin fin in my 7'2" CB speed egg and prefer it to the 7 inch True Ames style bonzer fin. No huge loss of drive, and freed the board up a bit. Been riding a round pin quad in this swell though .
