Bloody hell, shock horror, someone on tour was propositioned by someone else. Imagine how often this has happened, an adult human tries to crack on to another adult human. Thousands of times this very weekend in our own fair city of Sydney. Until and unless the person involved is charged with a sexu...

Relax and enjoy your problem, I say. ("You self interested prick, Carroll!" "You're part of the f**ken problem!" "Evil exploiter of surfing's fragile beauty!!" etc etc) Really bootsy I reckon you're better off enjoying surf mags than some other meeja forms I could mention. Imagine being New Idea's t...

Clearly it wasn't Christmas. Seriously folks, jeepers fricken creepers. It's a bit like walking down the street, do you walk in front of someone coming the other way just to show 'em the sidewalk's yours? And if another human's fool enough to do so, do you really buy into it? Drop-ins are water off ...

Yeah well oddly enough there was no sign of the Avalon Ski School at the aforementioned "beach" on Saturday - despite the conditions being ideal for your first go-round on one of those magnificent wedge-shaped craft.

I for one must now entertain SERIOUS DOUBTS about Davo and his concept.

yeah except cmon, you gotta think about the longer-term consequences.... Superman is like Spiderman, he's a big hero and all, but he's completely cut off from the rest of society. Notice how the only way he's ever going to get into Lois Lane's knickers is as Clark Kent, but as Clark Kent he's such ...

Fong, congrats on the spawning, but... ...the Cowboys??? Who played the tougher semi. The tougher semi winner always wins the big one. At least St George fought back. Parramatta flattered the Cowboys with their lame incomplete sets and panicky line defence. They were so bad you could almost credit t...

Re Futures, I've got a lot of time for them, beautiful fin foils, and the box gives the fin an even lock along the whole base. Super secure feeling. I generally approve of fin systems anyway just 'cause I like to find and fit the right fin for the board, and I'm not a fan of resin beads along the fi...

I have no doubt that a couple of calls could raise mutiples of the $250,000 (NC for instance is awash with funds and is a dear and close friend) - and despite his suggestion that the Venture would be better placed far away, I I do detect a burgeoning interest there. I used to want to own the third house south of the walkway at sth Newport -- timber painted deep grey with a reddish roof, set a bit back on the block. But don't really care any more, I don't have $5 million anyway, and I'd just stare out the window all day waiting for the wind to switch. Happy almo...

Larry, perhaps usiong the clout that would no doubt accompany your monumental Investment, you could direct the School to the coastal area between Bangalley and Careel Heads, it's an ideal ski training area.
